All the timbers used are legally sourced from Northern latitudes, we use redwood which is slow growing and results in a much more suitable material than other varieties - our supplier has full chain of custody certification FSC, PEFC and are founder members of Forests Forever, the environmental voice of the industry – Our redwood is pressure treated with Naturewood a unique environmentally advanced timber preservative from Osmote

This enables us to give a 5 year guarantee against decay and insect attack, this does not include the natural splitting, cracking, warping and movement that is integral and part of the character of a natural product like wood, although every effort is made to minimise this by using quality timbers, fixings and methods of construction.

All the exposed timber edges are rounded to give a comfortable luxurious feel, and for the large posts we use specially selected non-heartwood the best available part of the tree, even the floor timbers are round edged and we use a relatively narrow board ,again to increase that luxurious look, our gazebos most definetely will not look or feel like a simple deck with rough fence posts as the most significant timber.
