At the Garden Barn you will find an unrivalled collection of Cretan terracotta, unique in colour, texture and styles, absolutely FROSTPROOF, each pot is individually hand thrown by master craftsmen in the mountains of Crete, their authenticity is guaranteed, no two pots will ever be exactly the same.

The range of sizes, styles and sculptural form ensures that if your requirement is practical or decorative, formal or informal, dramatic or subtle, there is something especially different here.

For homes, gardens or commercial uses the only limit to Cretan pots applications is your imagination!!!

Cretan pots exude a character and uniqueness not found in any other terracotta, this is not the result of simply a conceived commercial project or from a “faux style” and finish achieved by mass production methods in a vast factory somewhere, Cretan pots are the result of a great many factors, historically beginning over 4,000 years ago when the first great pots were produced in the Minoan period utilising craftsmen’s skills – passed down to today’s generation – and also including the unique and natural materials only found and used in Crete.
